In addition to the manufacturing and distribution of our industry-leading Li-ion rechargeable batteries and various related energy/power products, AETLD has also actively engaged in continual research, development ,and commercialize innovative technology into commercially available products. Over last few years, we have carried out research and development in the: (1) Advanced electrode materials of Li-ion batteries and the resultant battery cells; (2) High-power, high-energy, high-safety Li-ion battery cells and packs for vehicle applications and energy storage applications; (3)Re-purpose/Re-cycle Battery.

Scientists and Engineers bringing professional solutions on advanced battery materials and cells with various successful project experience. Our R & D equipment is state of the art with high precision battery technique analytical instrument and powerful software, possessng an excellent pilot run test line and inspection equipment. In addition this vast experience is present innovations in thermal management, current field management, and structural strength design.// The BMS & PACK research and development center cooperated with the Dr. Chen Zheng Laboratory of Michigan University USA, and other international well-known institutions. Through this cooperation it realized developments in high safety, practical BMS systems, active and passive equalization techniques, battery state online estimation, and security strategy. Resulting in performance parameters approaching the limits of current industry capabilities as well as the industrial benchmark.

Over last few years, we have carried out research and development in the: (1) Advanced electrode materials of Li-ion batteries and the resultant battery cells; (2) High-power, high-energy, high-safety Li-ion battery cells and packs for vehicle applications and energy storage applications; (3) Advanced battery cell processing ; and (4) Re-purpose/Re-cycle Battery.

 

We have investigated to determine the technical feasibility of re-purposing lithium-ion batteries for use in low-cost transportable renewable energy storage systems. In addition, the benefits of re-purposing these battery packs will be analyzed. When the Li-ion batteries in HEVs or PHEVs reach the end of their service life, recycling or re-purposing lithium-ion batteries poses a special challenge for automobile companies throughout California and the USA. Therefore, it is much more economical to first re-purpose lithium-ion batteries for transportable/renewable energy storage applications. Once the batteries have been consumed, if they cannot be re-purposed, they can still be recycled to their constituent ingredients.
